I think the strongest part of my work was utilizing the dodge and burn tools to make the tattoo look more realistic and blend more to like my skin tone. I could probably improve on the stretch of the image, because I feel I stretched the image too much so I feel like it isn't quite the same as if it were on my skin.

The easiest part of this assignment was drawing the tattoo because I was able to combine two separate pictures by tracing. It was difficult making the tattoo look realistic because it took me a couple of classes to figure out how to make it look as realistic as I could.

I used the dodge and burn tools to lighten or darken an area pf the picture to match lighting of my skin. The blur tool was used to hide parts of the tattoo under my shirt and chin and I used the multiply tool to remove the white from my tattoo. I used the warp filter to stretch the tattoo on my skin. I demonstrated the goal by creating a tattoo and putting on a picture by properly using the new tools we learned about. I would probably choose a different place to put the tattoo if I could do this project differently.

The strongest area of my work is the layout I chose because it's a different design than what I've seen others do and it appeals to me more personally. It looks like a silhouette or something out of a sketch book. I think I could probably work more on the shape and complexity of certain pictures because others pop out because they look kinda like a single picture rather than being apart of the whole piece itself.
I thought it was easy to blend the pictures together and filter them top look like a sketch book because I had the most ease and understanding of how to do this. I thought the most difficult part was to make the pictures look like they are apart of the whole piece without overlapping and looking like separate pictures because I didn't want to take away from the piece as a whole or the single picture.

I used the layer mask, the paint tool, the move tool, opacity, and used different filters. I used the filters to change the way the pictures looked, I used the layer mask to blend pictures into one picture, and I used the paint tool to paint the picture in. I demonstrated the goal by combining multiple images into a collage that looks like one picture by using the tools and skills we learned about. If I could do something differently I would make it in color with different images because I also like the colorful look.

My strongest area of the work I made was making it look like a busy hallway. It looks like everyone has something to do or somewhere to be. I could improve on making the clones interact more with each other because they are interacting with their surroundings more than each other. The clones all seem to have like a separate location where they're stuck in place instead of looking to interact with the others.

It was easy to paint in the other clones into one picture. It was a simple process of lining up the pictures and using a paint tool to put the clones together. It was difficult to find a good location to stand or make a stance without upstaging other clones. It was difficult because I didn't really know where my clones were standing based on my location in the pictures.

I used the paint tool to insert the clones into one picture, I used the move tool to resize and line up the pictures so all the backgrounds lined up, and I used the mask tool to combine the pictures together. I demonstrated the objective by making it look like the clones were interacting with each other in a way and their back grounds. If I could do this activity again I'd take more pictures and make it look more like the clones are interacting with each other and make sure i don't upstage any of them.

Letter Project

I think the strongest area of my work is the design because I personally like the way the letters overlap and make a loop at the ends when they connect. It looks like a vine of the letter "A". It looks kind of satisfying and it is simple yet different. I like how the "A" in the center really pops out. I think I could improve on using more filters for it to be more abstract. My project looks kinda abstract but I feel it could be a bit more complex.

I thought making the background and using the filters was easy. Everything was easy to use and very understandable. Nothing was really complicated to use. I thought it was hard to shape the letters and place them where I wanted to create an abstract work. The font I chose made it slightly harder to make things look more abstract but I feel like as I used them more i became better at using them to create more complex layers in a simply, beautiful manner.

I used the font Edwardian Script to create a beautiful "A" to start with. I used various tools such as the 3D tool, Warping tool, gradient tool, move tool, and text tool. The 3D tool is what makes the center letter pop out at you. The gradient tool creates a simplistic background, the text tool let me warp the letters using the warp tool as well, and the move tool to flip and stretch the letters in ways I wanted them to be.

I demonstrated the goal by using the tools to create a composition that was simple and abstract using only one letter multiple times. I used many tools to create my work and have look abstract. If I could do this project differently I would use the 3D tool more because it makes the whole project pop and makes it look better all around.
